Loki (Logs)
Loki is a log aggregation system in the monitoring namespace, designed for efficient log querying with Grafana.
Overview
| Property | Value |
|---|---|
| Namespace | monitoring |
| Access | Internal (ClusterIP) on port 3100 |
| Integration | Grafana (LogQL queries) |
How It Works
Loki collects logs from all pods via Promtail (or Grafana Agent) and indexes them by labels rather than full-text. Logs can be queried through Grafana using LogQL.
kubectl get pods -n monitoring -l app=loki
TODO: expand with retention policies, storage backend, LogQL query examples, and Promtail/Agent configuration.
